About this opportunity
The Mission Installation Contracting Command (MICC) at Fort Jackson is conducting market research through a Request for Information to identify providers of soldier resilience, therapeutic support, trauma-response, and wellness services within a 40-mile radius of Fort Jackson, South Carolina, with responses due June 4, 2026. This RFI does not constitute a solicitation and carries no Government obligation to acquire services or reimburse respondent costs.
The Government seeks to assess technical viability and explore industry capabilities to inform future requirements and acquisition strategy for what is referenced as the Soldier Monitoring System (SMS) effort. Interested parties must clearly mark any proprietary or competition-sensitive information in their responses; the Government will not release marked proprietary information outside the Government without written permission.
MICC is evaluating vendor capability across seven assessment categories. Clinical capability requirements include demonstrated experience supporting soldier resilience and mental fitness, rapid-response trauma services aligned with structured frameworks such as Trauma-Informed Care or Critical Incident Stress Management, and documentation of licensed clinicians holding certifications including CISM, EMDR, and CBT. Operational capacity requirements include hours of availability for urgent response, ability to support groups of 10 to 50 soldiers, accommodation of short-notice sessions, customization to military training environments, and integration with the Brigade's established trauma-response operating procedures. Vendors must confirm facility location within 40 miles of Fort Jackson and provide commercial pricing information, including confirmation of commercial item status under FAR 2.101, and details on package pricing, group rates, or subscription models.
