About this opportunity
Air Combat Command is requesting sources for a Small Arms Parts Management System for the 49th Security Forces Squadron, with responses due August 31, 2026. This is a Total Small Business set-aside. The system must include a standard 5-year warranty; additional costs for shipping, installation, and training apply. This sources sought request is for information only and does not require an official quote.
The specification calls for a high-density automated armory crib with rotary carousel storage in a tamper-resistant welded steel cabinet, approximately 75–80 inches tall by 36–40 inches in width and depth, weighing 700–900 pounds. The system must support CAC/PIV, PIN, RFID, or badge-based electronic access control with role-based permissions and motorized single-item dispensing. An auxiliary AutoLocker FX system with modular locker columns (10–20 lockers per column) provides individually controlled compartments with audit logging and optional sensor-based tracking. The software must manage SKU tracking with min/max levels and auto-replenishment alerts, serialized item tracking for bolts, firing pins, optics, suppressors, and other components, and comprehensive audit and reporting of issue/return logs. The system requires an industrial touchscreen control console, operates on standard 110–120V AC power with optional UPS, and connects via Ethernet with optional Wi-Fi using secure TLS/SSL protocols. It must support springs, pins, extractors, bolts, magazines, optics, and cleaning kits with full issue/return audit trails. Capacity is 500–1,000+ SKUs plus 10–100 additional locker compartments. The system must be compatible with armory inventory and maintenance management platforms.
