About this opportunity
The Air Force Research Laboratory is seeking a contractor for the Simulation Environment for Technology Research and Assessments (SENTRA) program, a comprehensive electronic warfare technology research and development initiative. The anticipated contract will support the design, development, and evaluation of advanced electronic warfare technologies, with a focus on high-fidelity modeling of threat sensor systems, weapons, command and control algorithms, and communication links. Technical areas of interest include Technologies for Modeling & Simulation, Technologies to Advance RF Simulation, and Techniques for Measuring Sensor System Performance. An Industry Day/Site Visit is scheduled for 28 MAY 2025, with strict attendance requirements including secret clearance and U.S. citizenship for participants. Interested companies must RSVP and submit visitor information by 21 MAY 2025 to Erin Duffley, with a maximum of two representatives per company allowed.
The contract will be an Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) mechanism with a $32 million ceiling, to be awarded through a Call off the Trusted and Elastic Military Platforms and Electronic Warfare System Technologies (TEMPEST) Advanced Research Announcement anticipated in June/July 2025. No specific set-aside has been designated for this opportunity, and the contract will be executed as a Cost-Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) task order arrangement. The work will be located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio, with strict Operations Security (OPSEC) requirements and significant emphasis on contractor employee credentials. Potential contractors must ensure that employees accessing USAF bases or IT networks are U.S. citizens, with limited waiver provisions. The pre-solicitation notice explicitly states that no proposals should be submitted at this time, indicating that further detailed solicitation information will be forthcoming.
