About this opportunity
The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration published a Special Notice on March 6, 2024 seeking information from contractors to design and conduct a study on the prevalence of sexual assault and harassment within the commercial motor vehicle industry. The agency aims to understand the extent of these issues, particularly among female drivers, through a comprehensive research effort over 40 months.
The Special Notice includes a Statement of Objectives and technical questions for contractors to provide input on the optimal design and methodology for a study. Contractors must submit capability statements and responses to the questions by March 28, 2024 demonstrating their ability to complete deliverables on a monthly, biannual and annual basis over the course of the project. All U.S.-based contractors are eligible to participate. The resulting contract will support the agency's effort to design and award a task order to a qualified firm to conduct this important study of safety issues within the commercial motor carrier industry.
