About this opportunity
The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command seeks Systems Engineering Technical Assistance (SETA) support to the Joint Integrated Air and Missile Defense Organization (JIAMDO) of the Joint Staff through a re-compete task order under the Seaport NxG MAC, with proposals due May 28, 2026. Competition is limited to Seaport NxG MAC holders only. Amendment 0001, issued May 19, extended the Step Two deadline to May 28 at 5:00 PM EST and added the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan and Contract Administration Plan as required attachments.
Place of performance is on-site at the Pentagon, Washington, DC, supporting JIAMDO's Warfighter Requirements, Capabilities Development, Capabilities Assessment, and Front Office branches. The incumbent is General Dynamics Information Technology.
The base period runs 10 months (August 24, 2026 through June 23, 2027) with four optional 12-month renewal periods extending through June 2031. The estimated effort totals 343,360 direct labor hours across all periods, including 13 defined labor categories such as Program Manager, Senior Project Manager, Senior Requirements Analyst, Senior Systems Engineer, and Operational Analyst. Work includes support for Nimble Fire exercises, Joint Regional IAMD Capability Mix studies, Capability Portfolio Management Reviews, and JCIDS processes at classification levels ranging from unclassified to Top Secret/SCI/SAP.
The task order is Cost Plus Fixed Fee. Government-estimated travel for the base period is $636,363.64; ODCs are $68,181.82 for the base period and $150,000 per option period. Evaluation uses a two-step process: Step One (viability determination by May 1) qualifies sources; Step Two applies equal weighting to technical approach and past performance, with cost realism analysis, for best-value award. The NAICS code is 541330, Engineering Services; PSC is R425.
