Update #1 ·
Target Pest: Drywood termites
Treatment:
Fumigation shall occur with a gas fumigant that meets EPA, state of Florida and U.S. Air Force requirements. Fumigant gas and any other gases, hazardous materials, or chemicals used in this process are required to be approved by the U.S. Air Force.
This facility includes approximately 29,215 sf and approximately 480,000 cubic footage. This facility is a single story, secure facility, with very strict requirements on sensitive, classified and secure information. The facility is occupied by approximately 150 occupants. Due to the nature of this facility, building occupant preferences are weekend work, for when contractor is to mobilize and execute work. Preferred weekend work and after normal business operating hours work (normal business operating hours are Monday through Friday from 0630 - 1700). Preferred schedule for any on site work and termite tenting would be weekends and holiday work so as not to interfere with normal required duty operations. The 2018 Federal Government observed holidays are listed below, in section "Submittals/Submissions".
The prospective contractor must operate in compliance with all state and local regulations, as well as all Air Force Instruction regulations and requirements. Typical requirements shall be followed based on EPA, FL and U.S.A.F. guidelines on securing tenting around structures undergoing fumigation.
