The Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Air Force Sustainment Center intends to issue a sole source contract to Waygate Technologies for performing Computed Tomography (CT) scans on radioscopy parts at the Oklahoma City-Air Logistics Complex. The contract will require the contractor to provide labor, tools, equipment, test equipment, materials, parts, quality control, transportation, and inspection manuals necessary to complete CT scans on specific aircraft engine components. Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award, with electronic proposal submissions accepted through FedBizOps. Interested parties must submit proposals electronically by April 30, 2025, with no telephone requests permitted.
The contract is not set aside for any specific business category and will be a Firm Fixed Price type with a performance period from June 17, 2025 to September 17, 2025. Waygate Technologies is the sole identified contractor, specifically qualified to perform CT inspections on five aircraft part drawings including Cross Shaft Arm, Bell Crank, Gearbox Seat, and Anti-ice Valve. While the exact contract value is not specified, the procurement is part of the Pacer Edge program, a multi-million-dollar collaboration between the Air Force and General Electric. The CT scanning will focus on 3D-printed aircraft engine components, with Waygate demonstrating compliance to CT specification 20220632. The Air Force aims to complete these inspections while simultaneously working to qualify additional CT inspection providers for future competitive procurements.
