THIS IS STRICTLY A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ON A FUTURE REQUIREMENT. PLEASE READ RFI ATTACHMENT FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION.
The 48th Contracting Squadron (48 CONS) at Royal Air Force Lakenheath, United Kingdom, seeks feedback from companies/entities capable of, and willing to provide, maintenance services for the repair and upkeep of various security systems and vehicle barriers on Royal Air Force bases.
The 48th Civil Engineering Squadron at RAF Lakenheath has identified a potential need for Security & Barrier Maintenance Services, and is seeking to pursue a contract to allow Contractors to provide the requested maintenance services for three geographically separated United States Visiting Forces (USVF) bases in the United Kingdom (UK). The current scope of effort includes: RAF Lakenheath, RAF Mildenhall, and RAF Feltwell.The scope of work would include, but is not limited to: Providing non-personal services, to include all personnel, supervision, tools, supplies/materials, equipment, and other items necessary to maintain and repair all security equipment. The following types of security equipment and Active Vehicle Barriers (AVB's) on these Installations are identified as, but not limited to: Bi-Fold Gates, Drop Arms, Tire Shredders, Hydraulic Bollards and Final Denial Barriers. Maintenance, Inspections, emergency call outs and repair services shall be in accordance with each manufacturer's specifications, state and local codes, and commercial practices.
Anticipated contract performance is one (1) base year (12 months) with four (4) one-year options.
