About this opportunity

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is seeking multiple contractors for a Strategic Sourcing for the Acquisition of Various Supplies and Equipment (SAVES) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for commercial IT hardware and software products. The procurement will support the FAA's Office of Finance and Management and is designed as a DOT-wide strategic sourcing contract to acquire a comprehensive range of technology products and services. These products include network infrastructure components, personal computing devices, computer peripherals, audio/visual equipment, software licenses, and cloud-based services from various Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). Proposals are due by 5:00 PM CST on January 29, 2025, with a NAICS code of 541512 for Computer Systems Design Services and a size standard of $34 million. Evaluation will likely include past performance, technical capabilities, pricing, and supply chain risk management assessments.

The solicitation is partially set aside for small businesses and anticipates awarding up to 8 multiple-award IDIQ contracts with a 10-year performance period consisting of one 5-year base period and one 5-year option period. The contract includes product-based services for full lifecycle IT asset management, including asset recovery, disposition, and warehousing services. The place of performance is designated as Egg Harbor City, New Jersey, though the contract will support DOT agencies nationwide. Vendors will be required to provide detailed reporting through various contract management deliverables, including Asset Identification, Order Transaction, Vendor Status, and Product Discrepancy reports. A 0.5% administrative rebate program will be implemented to cover contract management costs, and the procurement aims to consolidate and standardize IT purchasing to eliminate redundancies and deliver cost savings across the Department of Transportation.
