About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force United States Air Forces in Europe - Air Forces Africa (USAFE-AFCA) is seeking to procure two specialized Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) doors for the 86th Airlift Wing. These doors must be manufactured in the United States, measure 40 inches wide, and meet specific technical specifications including STC 50 and RF DB60 standards. Interested vendors must email the Contracting Officer by April 17, 2025, with a subject line of "GG SCIF Requirement" and provide proof of shipping capabilities. Evaluation criteria will heavily focus on delivery timing, with dates closest to the desired delivery date of June 8, 2025, receiving more favorable consideration. The government will utilize oral solicitations for participants who opt into the procurement process, with an anticipated award date of April 30, 2025.
The solicitation is an unrestricted acquisition under NAICS code 332321 for Metal Door Manufacturing, with no specific set-aside designations. No incumbent contractors are mentioned in the documentation. Vendors with previous Department of Defense sales of similar secure door products will be viewed favorably, as the government can readily verify their contract history. The exact delivery location in the Eastern United States remains to be determined, though secure shipping to this region is a key requirement. While no specific award value is disclosed, the procurement is for two specialized doors that must meet stringent security and technical specifications, suggesting a potentially high-value contract for a niche product requiring advanced manufacturing capabilities.
