The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), Maritime Administration (MARAD), Suisun Bay Reserve Fleet (SBRF) has a requirement to renew the stainless steel Roll Up Doors (curtains) on five (5) doors aboard Fleet Barge (FB)-675. The core services include removing the existing curtains, having the Government scale and coat the openings, and then installing new stainless-steel curtain assemblies. The contract will be awarded on a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) basis, evaluating the quoter's technical approach, subcontractors, and relevant experience within the past 5 years. Quotations are due by September 10, 2024 at 1:00 PM (PT), and site visits can be scheduled by August 28, 2024. Questions are due by August 29, 2024.

This is an unrestricted procurement under NAICS code 238290, Other Building Equipment Contractors, with a small business size standard of $22 million. The contract includes a not-to-exceed 50 hours of supplemental labor at a fixed hourly rate, and up to $2,500 for supplemental materials and subcontractor services. All work must be performed at the Suisun Bay Reserve Fleet location in Benicia, CA. The period of performance is 30 days after the material and components arrive.

The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), Maritime Administration (MARAD), Suisun Bay Reserve Fleet (SBRF) has a requirement to renew the stainless steel Roll Up Doors (curtains) on five (5) doors aboard Fleet Barge (FB)-675 identified in the attached Statement of Work (SOW).
Refer to Sections 9 and 10 of the Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for submittal instructions and evaluation criteria.
RFQ AMENDMENT 1:
The purpose of this amendment is to include the revised Combined Synopsis/Solicitation which includes the following changes:
1. Allow the contractor to schedule the site visit on or before September 5, 2024
2. Extend the question due date to September 6, 2024 at 1:00 PM (PT)
3. Extend the quotation due date to September 10, 2024 at 1:00 PM (PT)
