About this opportunity

The Small Business Administration (SBA) is seeking secure, long-term storage services for two Mobile Recovery Vehicles (MRVs), which are Ford Transit vans used for disaster response operations. The procurement requires two separate storage facilities: one within 50 miles of the SBA's Office of Capital Access Processing and Disbursement Center in Fort Worth, Texas, and another within 50 miles of the SBA office in Norcross, Georgia. Each storage facility must provide comprehensive security measures including 24/7 surveillance, perimeter fencing, controlled access, and protection from environmental hazards such as theft, vandalism, and weather damage. The contractor must also conduct monthly visual inspections of the vehicles, maintain detailed access logs, and ensure immediate vehicle retrieval capabilities for SBA personnel during emergency deployments. Interested vendors must submit a one-page PDF response detailing their facility capabilities, security measures, and small business certifications by the deadline of August 29, 2025, at 3:30 PM EST.

This procurement is designated as a Total Small Business set-aside, specifically targeting SBA Certified 8(a), HubZone, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB), Women Owned Small Business (WOSB), and Small Business vendors. The contract structure includes a base period of one year from September 1, 2025, to August 31, 2026, with four additional one-year option periods, creating a potential five-year maximum contract duration. The estimated contract value is under $25,000, structured as a firm-fixed price arrangement. The vehicles to be stored are specifically identified as 2024 Ford 350HR Cargo RWD models, with the SBA responsible for delivering the vehicles to the selected storage facilities. Vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database to be considered for award, and the government anticipates requiring deliverables including a storage assessment within 15 days of contract award and ongoing monthly inspection reports.
