About this opportunity
The Department of Veterans Affairs' Network Contracting Office 8, located at the VA Caribbean Health System (VACHS) in San Juan, Puerto Rico, is seeking a contractor to provide maintenance services for its Western Shelter and Deployed Logix (DLX) system at the VACHS main facility. The required services include performing annual inspections, maintenance, and cleaning of the shelter, drive-thru, and associated trailers and equipment. Quotes will be comparatively evaluated based on factors such as technical capability, past performance, and price, with the award going to the most advantageous response. Questions are due by 10:00 AM AST on May 3, 2024, and quotes must be submitted by 3:00 PM AST on May 10, 2024.
This solicitation is being procured as a small business set-aside under NAICS code 561790, with a $9 million size standard. The contract is expected to be a one-year base period with four one-year option periods, and the work will be performed at the VACHS facilities in Puerto Rico. This appears to be a new requirement for the agency, as the Western Shelter and DLX systems have not been maintained on a long-term basis previously.
