About this opportunity
Veterans Integrated Service Network 10 issued Amendment 0003 to solicitation 36C25026Q0924 on September 15, 2026, correcting contractor responsibilities for linen and laundry services at Cincinnati VA Medical Center; responses are due by September 18, 2026.
The amendment corrects a prior amendment that incorrectly assigned onsite ScrubEx distribution functions to VA staff. The contractor, not VA personnel, bears full responsibility for managing and distributing ScrubEx materials onsite at nine designated locations on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday between 8:00 AM–4:30 PM EST, requiring approximately 2.5 to 3 hours per visit.
The five-year firm-fixed-price contract runs from October 1, 2026, through March 31, 2031 (base ordering period through March 31, 2027, followed by four one-year options). The contractor furnishes complete linen and laundry processing services including soiled linen pickup, transportation, processing (sorting, washing, drying, finishing, folding, packaging), and delivery Monday through Saturday. The contractor must maintain 72-hour onsite PAR levels and 48-hour off-site PAR levels with 96-hour total sustainability capability, provide all materials, vehicles, scales, carts, and personnel, and assume all labor, equipment, transportation, and disposal costs.
The contractor must designate a Plant Manager with three years' specialized experience, comply with OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard and CDC infection control guidelines, and meet defined quality standards for delivery timeliness, linen cleanliness, packaging, cart sanitation, and reporting accuracy. Prospective contractors should review the updated Performance Work Statement dated September 15, 2026, to ensure proposals accurately reflect all contractor obligations.
Notice text
This amendment corrects information issued in a previous amendment to this solicitation. The prior amendment incorrectly stated that VA staff would perform onsite ScrubEx distribution functions. This amendment corrects that information: the Contractor, not VA staff, is responsible for performing onsite ScrubEx distribution, as reflected in the updated Performance Work Statement (PWS), dated 9/15/2026.
