This solicitation seeks quotes to replace the fuel tanks aboard the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration research vessel Charles Darwin located at the Southeast Fisheries Science Center in Miami, Florida. Vendors must meet the technical specifications in the attached statement of work to inspect and replace the existing corroded 100-gallon aluminum fuel tank with a new plastic or aluminum tank of 96-100 gallons capacity per American Boat and Yacht Council and United States Coast Guard standards. Vendors must not exceed this size standard and must be able to perform under the terms and conditions outlined, including complying with prohibitions related to certain telecommunications equipment. The work is to be completed at the NOAA Southeast Fisheries Science Center facility in Miami, Florida, with pricing separated for each task in the statement of work and an anticipated period of performance of 90 days from award.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and in accordance with the simplified acquisition procedures authorized in FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and no other written solicitation will be issued.
This solicitation is being issued as a total small business set-aside. The associated NAICS code is 336611. The small business size standard is 1,300 employees.
This combined solicitation/synopsis is for purchase of the following commercial services: Research Vessel Fuel Tank Replacement Services

Please refer to the attached Statement of Work for full technical specifications/requirements.
See attached full Combined Synopsis with all terms and conditions which all vendors must be in compliance with to be eligible for award. Vendors must provide their Will or Will Not and Does or Does Not Statement per FAR Provision 52.204-24 which goes with FAR Clause 52.204-25. At a minimum, all quotes should include contact information and CAGE Code.
