The Federal Aviation Administration Southwestern Region is seeking proposals to modernize the elevator system at the Richmond Air Traffic Control Tower in Richmond, Virginia under solicitation number 697DCK-24-R-00045. Offerors must have experience modernizing elevators and providing preventative maintenance services. Proposals are due by November 15, 2023 and must address all requirements in the solicitation including the additional specification added in Amendment 0002. Amendment 0002: Add additional requirement to Attachment J-1 Specifications

Amendment 0001 

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement for an elevator modernization of the Richmond Air Traffic Control Tower (RIC ATCT) in Richmond, VA. 

 Review all attachments pertaining to this solicitation prior to submitting a proposal.


Please note the FAR references cited in Beta.SAM are not applicable to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) as the FAA has its own policies and guidance referenced in the Acquisition Management System (AMS).


This SIR/RFP is being posted in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Acquisition Management Policy, Section 3.2.1.3.11 Public Announcements.


All interested vendors are advised that the FAA will not pay for any information or any administrative costs incurred that are associated with any response received from industry in response to this SIR.

To be considered for award of this requirement, the offeror must have a current/valid registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database website: www.sam.gov.


To be eligible for award, the offeror must submit a proposal that is in accordance with Section L and Section M of this SIR.
