Contractors must demonstrate their ability to remove existing equipment, perform minor wall repairs and painting, and install new metal lockers with specific configurations including sloped tops, louvered doors, solid sides, and number displays, along with benches featuring stainless steel pedestals. The evaluation criteria will focus on technical quality, meeting project milestones, and adherence to specified standards, with quality assurance requirements built into the performance work statement. Interested contractors must submit a 10-page capability statement by 10:00 AM EST on August 8, 2025, to the designated contracting officials via email, providing detailed information about their corporate profile, business size, NAICS codes, governance approach, and quality management processes.

The project requires installation of 34 total double-tier metal lockers (17 in each locker room) sized 12" wide x 18" deep x 72" tall, along with two benches measuring 48" for the women's room and 60" for the men's room. The performance period ranges from 120 to 180 days following contract award based on the documentation variations, with all lockers requiring a lifetime warranty. Work must be completed during designated hours at the VACO Fitness Center, with potential delivery of materials to a VA warehouse in Hyattsville, MD.
