About this opportunity

The Department of Labor Office of the Assistant Secretary for Administration and Management, specifically the Bureau of Labor Statistics Division of New Media, is seeking a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) social media management platform to streamline publishing, governance, and reporting across official BLS channels. This Request for Information (RFI) is a sources-sought notice and market research tool, not a binding solicitation or commitment to award a contract. Key requirements include enterprise account grouping supporting unlimited social profiles across multiple networks (X/Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Threads, LinkedIn, YouTube, Bluesky, Pinterest, and TikTok); advanced approval workflows with real-time content editing; comprehensive analytics and reporting capabilities shareable with external users; advanced monitoring and listening tools; benchmark comparison data; custom inbox management rules; a social content calendar; campaign planning features; and iOS and Android mobile applications for five user seats with potential expansion to seven or eight seats. The Government will evaluate responses based on their applicability to stated needs, with relevant responses receiving a "Relevant" designation and potentially being invited for demonstration to a Government panel of Subject Matter Experts. The extended response deadline is April 20, 2026, at 12:00 PM EST, with vendor questions previously due by April 6, 2026.

This opportunity carries no small business set-aside designation and is open to full and open competition with the possibility of multiple awards. No incumbent contractor or current vendor is identified in the available documentation. Budget or award value information has not been disclosed; the Government requested pricing for rough order of magnitude and planning purposes only, to be submitted as part of RFI responses. The contract structure will be firm-fixed-price on a Software-as-a-Service basis, with a one-year initial period of performance and three possible option years. The Government indicated an expedited timeline and expects solutions focusing on operational efficiency improvements and enhanced audience engagement through superior analytics capabilities. Importantly, the Government will handle all content development internally, including post drafting, graphic design, and video production, with the contractor responsible solely for providing the platform, metrics, and training. Section 508 accessibility compliance and off-the-shelf solutions are preferred requirements, with no customization or development options anticipated during the initial contract term.
