About this opportunity

The Special Notice is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the Joint Project Manager for Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) Protection, which operates under the Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Defense (JPEO-CBRND). The notice was published by the Department of the Army Materiel Command Army Contracting Command Aberdeen Proving Ground on July 1, 2025. JPM CBRN Protection is responsible for developing, fielding, and sustaining CBRN protection and mitigation capabilities for military personnel and national defense. The organization focuses on next-generation physical protection equipment such as masks and suits that reduce physiological burden while enhancing protection against CBRN threats. They also develop contamination mitigation technologies, including decontamination systems designed to reduce the time and materials required for personnel and equipment decontamination.

The purpose of this RFI is to identify contractors with specific capabilities that can support CBRND missions, particularly those involving specialized equipment and chemical packaging solutions. Contractors must respond by August 23, 2025, and are specifically sought for two key areas: applicator technology with integrated mixer/auger systems capable of spraying high viscosity, abrasive fluids up to 7000 centipoises, and vendors capable of combining and packaging commercially available chemical components into specified configurations. The packaging must meet military standards for transportability and storage requirements. Interested contractors are directed to visit the JETT registration page at https://jacks.jpeocbrnd.army.mil/JETT to schedule meetings with the program office. The initiative represents an opportunity for industry to engage with JPEO-CBRND regarding advanced CBRN protection technologies and specialized chemical handling capabilities that support warfighter protection and national defense objectives.
