About this opportunity
The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Document Services is seeking multiple award fixed-price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts for 40-inch wide format production devices. The procurement aims to acquire black and white and color engineering technical drawing equipment with add-on accessories for use in both Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS) locations. The requirement includes comprehensive services such as equipment delivery, installation, maintenance, network functionality, IT security accreditation, technical support, and training. Interested vendors must submit their response electronically by February 7, 2025, at 12:00 PM EST, providing details including business name, SAM UEI Number, Cage Code, and point of contact information. The government emphasizes that this is a Request for Information (RFI) and does not obligate any contract award, with submissions being strictly voluntary.
The contract opportunity does not have a specific set-aside designation and is open to all qualified sources. The potential contract will span up to 60 months and involves procuring up to thirty (30) wide format printers with specific technical requirements, including color certification for Mapping, Charting and Geodesy (MC&G) by the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency. The equipment must meet stringent performance standards, such as maintaining 95% monthly uptime and having color delta values within 2-5% of NGA targets. The procurement will include four volume tiers of consumables ranging from basic (75,000 sq ft/year) to high-volume (1.2M sq ft/year), with requirements for removable hard drives and compliance with DoD security standards. While no specific award value is mentioned, the comprehensive requirements suggest a significant and complex procurement process focused on high-performance technical drawing and printing equipment.
