About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Installation and Mission Support Center is issuing a Request for Information on AI Installation Lodging Optimization with responses due May 5, 2026 at 1400 CST; this is market research only with no contract award anticipated at this stage.
The Air Force seeks qualified sources to deliver an AI Installation Optimization Application deployed across up to 83 Department of the Air Force installations worldwide. The application must securely integrate authoritative enterprise systems (ADVANA BLADE and ENVISION) to ingest and unify up to 10 years of historical lodging, installation, and travel data; develop AI/ML pattern-of-life lodging utilization forecasting models; configure scenario modeling tools and up to four UI screens (Common Operating Picture, Scenario Analysis, Installation and Lodging Dashboard); and support natural-language querying for lodging capacity and building condition assessment. The scope includes configuring the application in a production environment, integrating it into AFIMSC planning and resource prioritization workflows, delivering role-based training, and establishing long-term operational support.
The anticipated production contract carries a 12-month period of performance from award and will be structured as Firm-Fixed-Price for six task CLINs (project management, application deployment and data integration, application configuration, lodging capacity planning optimization, operational rollout and user enablement, and transition to production and scale planning) with a cost-reimbursable CLIN for travel. Performance requirements include 95% on-time deliverable submission, 95% quality assurance score, bi-weekly status meetings, and 90% stakeholder satisfaction. Respondents should submit capability statements, brochures, and CAGE/DUNS information. Direct inquiries to SSgt Drew Yanez or TSgt Sydney Wadlington-Sanders, 773rd Enterprise Sourcing Squadron, Joint Base San Antonio, Lackland, Texas.
