1.0 Description of Work

Provide services to deploy the AI Installation Optimization for the Air Force Installation and Mission Support Center (AFIMSC). The purpose is to deploy an enterprise solution that provides a faster and more accurate way to understand lodging and housing readiness across global installations. The solution will address current challenges where planners must manually gather and analyze fragmented data from multiple systems, which can result in blind spots in capacity planning and increase the risk that installations will be unprepared for exercises, surges, or contingency deployments.

1.1 Background

Air Force Installation and Mission Support Center (AFIMSC) needs to improve its understanding of lodging and housing readiness across its global portfolio of installations. Today, the process is manual and relies on fragmented data, creating risks for capacity planning and deployment preparedness.

The AI Installation Optimization Application should address this problem. The solution will securely integrate authoritative enterprise systems (e.g., ADVANA BLADE, ENVISION) to produce accurate pattern-of-life and utilization insights. It will allow planners to use natural-language querying to assess lodging capacity, building conditions, and other factors.

Furthermore, it will introduce forward-looking scenario modeling to support budget prioritization. This will enable faster assessments, smarter deployment planning, quicker decision-making, and better funding alignment with installation requirements and emerging bed down needs.

1.2 Scope

The scope of this contract is to deliver an Initial Production Deployment (IPD) of an AI Installation Optimization Application. The solution will be deployed for up to 83 Department of the Air Force (DAF) installations.

The scope includes:

Configuring and deploying the application in a production environment with live data integrations.

Ingesting and unifying up to 10 years of historical lodging, installation, and travel data.

Developing and configuring AI/ML "pattern-of-life" lodging utilization forecasting models and scenario modeling tools.

Developing and configuring up to four (4) user interface (UI) screens (e.g., Common Operating Picture, Scenario Analysis, Installation and Lodging Dashboard).

Integrating the application into AFIMSC planning and resource prioritization workflows.

Use or disclosure of data contained on this sheet is subject to the restriction on the title page of this proposal.
