About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Air Combat Command's 99th Contracting Squadron is conducting market research through a Request for Information (RFI) to identify qualified vendors capable of providing project management support for the 57th Wing at Nellis Air Force Base. The procurement seeks a single full-time equivalent (FTE) project manager to support the Warfighter Program Support (WPS) contract, which involves expert-level assistance for Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) tactics, test, and training mission execution. Key requirements include providing high-level program and project management support, security support up to Top Secret/SCI and Special Access Program (SAP) levels, modeling and simulation scenario development, mission planning and execution, and contractor aircrew training. Interested vendors must provide company information including CAGE code, business size classification, anticipated response timeframe for future RFPs, and transition timeline from award to service commencement. Electronic responses are due no later than November 13, 2024, at 10:00 AM Pacific Time to the primary point of contact Rachel Tilley.
This opportunity does not utilize any set-aside designation and is classified under NAICS code 541618 (Other Management Consulting Services). No current incumbents or contractors are specifically identified in the documentation, though the RFI references support for an existing WPS contract structure. The anticipated contract includes a base year with four option years for the period of performance, though specific award values or budget ranges are not disclosed in this preliminary market research phase. Work will be performed primarily at Nellis AFB and other Nevada locations, requiring personnel to maintain active Top Secret/SCI and SAP security clearances. The government emphasizes that this RFI is for planning purposes only and will help determine appropriate solicitation strategies, including whether a set-aside approach should be implemented for the eventual procurement.
