About this opportunity
Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center Sigonella, on behalf of the Forward Deployed Regional Maintenance Center, issued a follow-on Request for Information (RFI) on June 9, 2026, with responses due by July 6, 2026, to solicit industry feedback on a draft Statement of Work for large ship repair and maintenance services at Naval Station Rota, Spain. This is market research only and explicitly not a solicitation; no proposals are requested and the Government will not accept or pay for responses.
The Government seeks feedback on the clarity, feasibility, and completeness of draft SOW requirements; potential performance challenges, risks, or barriers; industry best practices and innovative solutions; and the realism of performance standards, reporting requirements, and contractor qualifications. The RFI is a follow-on to Sources Sought Notice N6817126RT003 and precedes a formal solicitation anticipated for posting in December 2026.
Interested vendors should submit written feedback electronically to nelson.j.arias.civ@us.navy.mil with clear references to specific SOW section and paragraph numbers. A site visit initially considered during this market research phase has been postponed to the formal solicitation period. Work is classified under NAICS 336611 (Ship Building and Repairing) and PSC J998 (Non-Nuclear Ship Repair), supporting five Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyers homeported at Naval Station Rota.
