About this opportunity
The Indian Health Service is soliciting quotes for two Optos Silverstone Ultra-Widefield Retinal Imaging Devices with Swept-Source OCT capabilities to support the Lawton Service Unit in Oklahoma. This procurement requires advanced medical imaging systems capable of 200-degree single capture retinal imaging in under 0.5 seconds, multiple laser wavelengths, and both VistA and DICOM compatibility features. The devices must be manufactured within two years of the purchase order date and include comprehensive service manuals, latest software/hardware updates, and a wheelchair-accessible table configuration. The evaluation will be conducted using the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable method, requiring vendors to provide detailed technical documentation to avoid quote rejection. Quotes must be submitted via email to designated contracting officers by August 22, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. CDT, with vendors required to be registered in the System for Award Management and provide comprehensive company and quote details.
This procurement is designated as an Indian Small Business Economic Enterprise set-aside, restricting competition to qualifying Native American businesses. The contract specifies quantities of one standard device and one DICOM-compatible device, with a 90-day delivery period following award and a 12-month overall performance period. Performance will occur at the Lawton Indian Hospital in Lawton, Oklahoma, where the contractor must coordinate delivery and provide on-site training for optometry staff. The solicitation does not identify current incumbents or specific budget ranges, though it references potential GSA contract pricing. Additional requirements include contractor personnel security clearance, confidentiality agreements, and provision of a dedicated service contact with toll-free support capabilities to ensure comprehensive post-installation support for this Joint Commission accredited federal healthcare facility.
