This RFI is a Sources Sought Notice designed to determine the availability of qualified sources and whether the procurement should be conducted competitively; it does not constitute a binding commitment to issue a solicitation. Interested vendors must possess an active Cage Code in the System for Award Management (SAM) and should monitor the posted opportunity site for any future solicitation release. The procurement falls under NAICS code 339113 (Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing) and PSC 6530 (Hospital Furniture, Equipment, Utensils, and Supplies). The deadline for submitting responses to this RFI is April 17, 2026, and all costs associated with responding are the responsibility of the interested party. The government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this notice, and phone calls will not be accepted.
The procurement is not subject to any set-aside designation, meaning it will be competed among all eligible vendors. The anticipated contract type is firm-fixed price, structured as a one-time buy with a required delivery date of September 30, 2026. No incumbent contractor or current supplier is identified in the RFI documentation, and specific budget or award values are not disclosed in this pre-solicitation notice. The RFI does not constitute a promise to issue a formal solicitation, and the government retains sole discretion to determine whether to proceed competitively based on vendor responses. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude potential vendors from participating in any subsequent solicitation that may be released.
