About this opportunity

The Department of the Army is seeking industry capabilities for Stryker Sustainment Services through a Request for Information (RFI) that covers comprehensive maintenance and training support for the Stryker Family of Vehicles (FoV). The solicitation focuses on four primary service areas: Field Service Representatives (FSRs), Field Level Maintenance, Fielding and De-processing, and New Equipment Training, with services to be performed both within the continental United States (CONUS) and outside the continental United States (OCONUS). The government plans to conduct a best value source selection using full and open competition for a single award, with evaluation criteria emphasizing advanced troubleshooting capabilities, surge operation readiness, and training scheduling alignment with the ReARMM model. Potential respondents must provide comprehensive company information, including NAICS codes, DCAA-approved accounting system details, and specific examples of relevant past performance. Industry questions are due by 5:00pm EST in February 2025, with the full response deadline set for March 17, 2025.

The RFI does not specify a specific set-aside designation, indicating the opportunity is open to a broad range of potential contractors. While no incumbent contractors are mentioned, the solicitation suggests a comprehensive and complex service requirement that will likely attract experienced defense contractors with significant vehicle maintenance and training capabilities. The document does not specify a precise award value or budget range, nor does it detail exact quantities of vehicles or exact timeline for services. The procurement appears focused on obtaining detailed industry insights to refine acquisition planning for Stryker vehicle sustainment services. The services will support vehicle maintenance and training both domestically and internationally, indicating a potentially significant and strategic contract opportunity for qualified defense service providers.
