The RFI was posted on April 27, 2026, providing approximately one month for interested parties to respond.

This RFI carries no set-aside designation and involves no identified incumbent contractors. The procurement addresses communication equipment requirements for maritime base stations in El Salvador, including VHF, UHF, and HF radio transceivers, antennas, power amplification systems, uninterruptible power supply units, operator console equipment, and complete cabling and installation kits. The contract timeline requires submission of the Installation Design Plan within 45 business days of award, equipment procurement completion within 20 business days of design plan approval, and training delivery in Spanish at basic and intermediate levels. The scope encompasses five locations within El Salvador, with the primary performance location at the contractor's facility and secondary performance locations in-country. No specific award value or budget range is provided in the RFI documentation; this Request for Information is intended to assess market capability and availability prior to formal solicitation issuance.
