About this opportunity

The Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Defense (JPEO-CBRND), operating through the Department of the Army Materiel Command Army Contracting Command Aberdeen Proving Ground, has issued a Request for Information to survey industry capabilities for developing broad spectrum prophylactics against acetylcholinesterase inhibitors. The government seeks solutions that can neutralize these chemical agents before they impact nervous system targets, focusing on engineering, testing, and manufacturing capabilities. This RFI serves purely for planning purposes and does not constitute a government commitment or guarantee future solicitation issuance. The information collected will be shared with relevant government parties to inform future development and procurement strategies. Responses to this RFI are due by October 8, 2025, with an associated Industry Day announcement providing additional details on performance objectives and information requirements.

This procurement opportunity operates without any set-aside designations, making it open to all qualified contractors. The notice does not identify any incumbent contractors or provide specific award values or budget ranges, as this is an information-gathering exercise rather than an active solicitation. No contract quantities, service timelines, or numerical performance metrics are specified in the current RFI documentation. The government emphasizes that no payment will be provided for information submitted in response to this request. The opportunity falls under NAICS code 541715 for Research and Development in Physical, Engineering, and Life Sciences, and PSC code AN13 for Health R&D Services and Experimental Development, indicating the technical and scientific nature of the anticipated future procurement.
