About this opportunity
The Air Force Materiel Command, through the Air Force Nuclear Weapon Center (AFNWC) Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Systems Directorate, has issued a Request for Information (RFI) regarding IT support services for ICBM operations at Hill Air Force Base. This is not a solicitation but rather an industry outreach effort posted on December 19, 2025. The RFI seeks feedback from interested companies on their capability to support the ICBM Development, Operations and Sustainment Information Technology (IDOS-IT) effort. The government is requesting industry input on draft requirements, responses to technical questions, and suggestions for improvement related to comprehensive IT service delivery for critical nuclear missile systems.
The primary objective of this RFI is to gather industry perspectives on viable contract strategies and approaches to meet the Air Force's extensive IT support requirements for ICBM programs including Sentinel and Next Generation Re-entry Capability (NGRC). Interested contractors must submit responses by January 16, 2026, to AFNWC.NI.IDOSIT@us.af.mil, with points of contact being Mr. Troy Stephens or Mr. Quade McGuire. Eligible contractors should be classified under NAICS code 541512 (Computer Systems Design Services) and capable of supporting IT infrastructure operations, cybersecurity, network management, application development, service desk support, and other specialized functions outlined in the Performance Work Statement. The effort requires personnel with potential access to classified information up to Top Secret level, including Special Access Program (SAP) and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) materials, with detailed labor categories and certification requirements specified in the supporting documents. The RFI invites feedback on manpower-based acquisition approaches, risk assessment, performance monitoring methods, and recommended Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) vehicles for contract execution.
