THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. IAW FAR Part 10, this RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes in support of market research; it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This RFI does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Further, the Air Force is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Responders are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party’s expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. BACKGROUND
The ICBMSD is seeking the best-value services that deliver superior, resilient, scalable and adaptable IT and digital ecosystems services and solutions while ensuring reliable IT dominance to support the ICBM nuclear deterrence mission. A dedicated IT Service contract will ensure sole focus on cyber security and IT services objectives, preventing critical areas from being overshadowed by broader weapon system requirements.
REQUESTED INFORMATION
The purpose of this RFI is to determine whether the following example Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Labor Categories (LCAT) define the scope clearly enough to develop a proposal based on manpower requirements (see attachments). If not, please respond to this RFI detailing what additional information is needed. This RFI is also seeking suggestions on contract strategies for this IT services contract.
