About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Lifecycle Management Center at Robins Air Force Base is seeking potential sources for repair, calibration, hardware maintenance, and software maintenance support for the Benchtop Reconfigurable Automatic Tester (BRAT). This Request for Information (RFI) is designed to identify contractors with expertise in maintaining complex test systems that provide analog, digital, and radio frequency testing capabilities. The government requires support for up to 81 separate testers across eight different configurations, with a focus on repairing and calibrating approximately 50 modules annually. Advanced Testing Technologies Inc. (ATTI) is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) with proprietary rights to the data, which means potential contractors must be prepared to work without original technical drawings or specifications. The RFI responses are due by March 28, 2025, and interested contractors must demonstrate their capabilities in problem investigation, resolution, validation, and integration testing.
The procurement is not set aside for any specific business category, meaning both large and small businesses are encouraged to respond. The projected period of performance is 12 months, with an estimated annual requirement of repairing 50 modules across multiple National Stock Numbers (NSNs). While specific award values are not disclosed in the pre-solicitation notice, the contract will cover comprehensive maintenance support for these critical testing systems. The scope of work includes repair data analysis, problem resolution, and support for diverse module configurations. Contractors will need to showcase their quality assurance processes, repair capabilities, and experience with similar commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) test systems. The government's primary objective is to identify a contractor capable of maintaining these sophisticated testing technologies with minimal original manufacturer documentation.
