About this opportunity
United States Special Operations Command is issuing a Request for Information on AI-driven cybersecurity solutions for commercial internet defense with responses due May 28, 2026. No set-aside applies, and this RFI is for planning purposes only with no obligation to contract or guaranteed follow-on award.
The requirement covers approximately 500 users and 500 endpoints in a mixed environment of Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems on USSOCOM's commercial internet network. The solution must integrate with existing security infrastructure including Microsoft Defender Endpoint, CISCO Firewall, and Active Directory. Respondents must indicate whether their solution can be purchased through NASA SEWP, GSA, FedBizOpps, or other established government vehicles and Blanket Purchase Agreements.
Minimum technical requirements include real-time threat detection, behavioral analytics, and automated incident response with continuous learning. The capability must support on-premises or hybrid deployment with policy enforcement (blocking, prompting, step-up verification, session restriction), Zero Trust principles, real-time web filtering, and encrypted traffic analysis including TLS 1.3. Additional requirements span anti-phishing and social engineering prevention, behavioral baselining with anomaly detection and risk scoring, automated discovery and classification of sensitive data including Controlled Unclassified Information, Data Loss Prevention across email and web uploads, and AI governance with visibility and control over internal and external AI tool usage to prevent data leakage. FedRAMP High SaaS solutions are acceptable if deployable on the commercial network.
No current incumbent solution exists. Responses limited to five pages or fifteen-slide PowerPoint presentations without pricing should be submitted to Kristen.colyer@socom.mil.
