About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document dated 1 May 2026 addressing a federal cybersecurity procurement requirement. The Government seeks to establish a new AI-enabled cybersecurity capability with no incumbent solution currently in place. The requirement covers approximately 500 users and 500 endpoints across a mixed environment of Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems. The solution must integrate with existing systems including Microsoft Defender Endpoint and Active Directory, while operating on the Government's commercial internet network (referred to as "dirty internet").

The desired operational model is automated with human interaction for oversight. The Government's primary objective is to deploy AI technology to protect the command's commercial internet operations. Current cybersecurity tools in use include Microsoft Defender Endpoint, CISCO Firewall, and Active Directory. FEDRAMP High SaaS solutions are acceptable options provided they can operate on the commercial network where the solution will be deployed. The requirement does not support an existing capability or contract replacement.
