The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP) herein issuance solicitation 15BFA023B00000029 for the award of a firm-fixed-price construction contract for a project entitled Replace Stairwell at the Federal Medical Center (FMC) Carswell, located in Fort Worth, TX.

Federal Medical Center (FMC) Carswell, located in Fort Worth is a federal owned facility located at J St BLDG 3000, Fort Worth, TX 76127.  The project consists of the following: 

The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment for the Replace Stairwell at FMC Carswell.  The project includes the removal of existing formed-concrete stairs and replace with steel-framed stairs and replace second floor walkways.

Pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36.204, the estimated magnitude of the project lies between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. (NOTE: This range is one of 8 available ranges from FAR 36.204 and is not meant to imply that the project has necessarily been estimated/budgeted to the maximum of the selected range.  It merely conveys that the estimate/budget lies somewhere within that range). 

The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code applicable to this requirement is 238190 with a corresponding small business size standard of $19 Million. The solicitation is set aside exclusively for small business contractors.
