About this opportunity
The Department of the Interior National Park Service Pacific West Region is procuring replacement of a dual metal fabricated gate at the Nez Perce National Historical Park Visitor Center in Lapwai, Idaho. The scope includes supply and installation of two 16.5-foot dual metal swinging gates with automatic openers, keypads, hanger posts, electrical supplies, and complete installation services including removal of the existing gate, site preparation, electrical connections, and operational testing. Contractors must be registered as active small businesses in SAM.gov with completed representations and certifications, and must provide a price schedule, technical capability description, and three customer references. The National Park Service will evaluate quotes based on price, experience, and past performance, with these factors weighted approximately equally. A mandatory site visit is scheduled for July 10, 2025 at 9:00 AM Pacific Time, requiring RSVP by July 8, 2025 to hal_hoversten@nps.gov. However, Amendment 0002 issued on July 1, 2025 cancels this Request for Quote entirely.
This procurement is designated as a 100% total small business set-aside under NAICS code 332312 (Fabricated Structural Metal Manufacturing) with a size standard of 500 employees. No incumbent contractors or current providers are identified in the solicitation documents. While no specific contract value or budget range is disclosed, the opportunity will be awarded as a firm-fixed price purchase order to a single vendor. The performance period was originally scheduled from August 4-20, 2025, but was later amended to August 5-20, 2025 before the entire solicitation was cancelled. The work location is at the Nez Perce National Historical Park Visitor Center in Lapwai, Idaho, with contractors required to submit PDF invoices through the Internet Payment Platform website upon completion of installation for review and acceptance prior to payment.
