The comprehensive scope includes replacing the elevator assembly with a new three-stop passenger elevator system, modernizing machine room systems and controls, renovating existing elevator cabs, and providing all associated mechanical, fire protection, and electrical support work required for the elevator modernization. Only contractors who are pre-approved holders of Multiple Award Construction Contracts (MACC) within the specified Hampton Roads MACC group are eligible to submit proposals for this solicitation. Performance and payment bonds will be required, and contractors must follow specific base access procedures for Naval Air Station Oceana, including proper badging for personnel without existing base access.
