Update #6 · Latest ·
FCI Englewood is seeking REPLACEMENT CONTROLS FOR AN EXISTING SOLAR FIELD:
The existing solar water heating system controllers consists of a series of parabolic troughs used to heat
water that feed into the FCI Englewood Domestic Hot Water system through heat exchangers. The working
fluid inside the solar collectors is a 40% propylene glycol/60% water mixture, circulated through the array
with a 5 HP pump. A heat exchanger inside the storage tank transfers heat energy from the array to the
non-potable water inside the tank.
This project shall include layout, supply, and installation of replacement master and local controllers and
integration into the existing Johnson Controls Metasys DDC system while maintaining the existing
instrumentation and infrastructure in place.
