About this opportunity
The Department of Veterans Affairs Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System seeks repair services for failed condensate pumps in Building 200, Sepulveda Ambulatory Care Center, with proposals due September 10, 2026 at 5:00 PM MDT. The procurement is set aside exclusively for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB).
Place of performance is North Hills, California 91343. Work scope includes removing and installing new check valves and pump cap assemblies on two pump traps, installing new sight glass assemblies, and testing for leaks and proper operation. Work is performed during normal business hours (Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM Pacific Time) over a contract period from September 21, 2026 through March 20, 2027.
Contractors must possess active state and/or local plumbing or mechanical contractor licenses, appropriate individual technician certifications (Journeyman or Master Plumber or Steamfitter), OSHA safety training for pressurized systems including lockout/tagout procedures, valid business licenses, and appropriate insurance coverage. Offerors must demonstrate at least five years of relevant experience performing similar high-pressure system repairs and provide current safety training documentation and quality assurance procedures.
A mandatory site visit is scheduled for September 4, 2026 at 10:00 AM at Building 200 Loading Dock (Dexter Jones is the point of contact). Amendments posted September 1 and September 8 provide a site plan map and photographic documentation of the condensate pump system and associated infrastructure; the solicitation closing date was not extended. The NAICS code is 238220, Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors. Wage Determination 2015-5613 (Rev34) applies.
