The 911th Airlift Wing, Pittsburgh IAP ARS, Coraopolis, PA 15108 intends to issue an Request for Proposal (RFP), This is a firm fixed-price contract to provide for all labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment and supervision necessary to Renovate B320, Supply Project JLSS 17-0009. Work will include demolition of walls in the current clothing issue shop, opening for doors, and construction of new walls. Construction of additional offices for superintendent and supervisors, offices to include energy efficient lighting, fire protection and alarm systems and all necessary support for a complete and usable facility. Relocation of one DC electric outlet. Renovate bathroom with more efficient fixtures (i.e. toilets and faucets) and new interior finishes. Replace existing meters with smart meters as approved by AF. All work shall be accomplished in strict accordance with the contract documents. The estimated cost range is between $100,000 and $500,000. The NAICS code is 236220. The applicable size standard is $36.5 million. Request for Proposal, FA6712-18-R-0001 will be available o/a 6 Dec 2017. Proposal closing date will be o/a 8 Jan 2018. This action is being set-aside for competition restricted to Hub-Zone Small Business firms IAW FAR Subpart 19.14 and 52.219-27. Performance period is 214 (94 days for design and 120 days for construction) calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Notice to Offerors: Funds are not presently available for this project. No award will be made until funds are available to make payments under a contract. The government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date with no obligation to the offeror by the government. Note: Interested offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. Firms can register via the SAM Internet site at https://www.sam.gov/. Interested offerors are required to submit their representations and certifications on-line using SAM. Offerors must be a certified Hub Zone Small Business firm at the time of the proposal closing date. The solicitation and associated plans and specifications will be available from the FBO website o/a 6 Dec 2017.
