1. Does the new underground plumbing for the toilet in the men's room need to be cast iron or can it be PVC? PVC is acceptable.
2. Are we to only include the cost of the hazardous survey in our bid amount since there is no specific quantities listed for remediation? YES.
3. Would any hazards found as a result of the survey be treated as a change of condition? YES.
4. Will all of the items identified during the site visit as being moved be relocated to the trailer? YES.
5. Will the contractor be required to move the items in the small security cage which will be demolished? NO.
6. Is the demolished security cage to be turned back to the government or disposed of? DISPOSED.
7. What is the floor capacity of the rolling bins that we will be required to pass over during the moving of the charging station?
Contractor should not be close to the rolling bin floor section. Contractor is to use the designated section that is used by the forklift throughout the warehouse. (around the rolling bins)
8. Is the specific capacity required for the drainless eyewash system? Is it required to be heated? 15 minute continuous flow, no on the heat
9. Will a photometric survey be required as part of our design efforts? NO.
10. Is the tile system in the bathrooms to be of like sizes or are there specific sizes that are to be used? 12"x12" Tile.
11. Are we only putting tile back on the walls that currently have tile in the bathrooms?
The 911th would like to have tile up to 4' high and the rest finished with dry-wall.
12. Is there a preferred material for the toilet partitions? HDPE (Gov will select color)
13. Where the CMU wall is demolished what is the preferred method for covering the existing wall tie areas? Match existing wall and paint.
14. Are there existing drawings for the plumbing and electrical systems? YES. Attached.
15. Is the existing air conditioner and the electric conduits on the end of the TMO wall to be removed/relocated? YES.
16. What is the disposition for the removed vault door? Will the contractor be required to set the combination to a standard transit combination? No, GOV is responsible.
