1. Are the two bathrooms looking to be updated to comply with both ADA regulations for Handicap and Ambulatory Requirements also?
Yes (duplicate question)
2. The size of floor tile (VCT) to remain shown in the Boeing Parts Storage (25' x 23') an exact amount to not be included in that room? It seems larger and may not include tile replacement under the demolished counter.
Tile under demoed counter IS to be replaced. Floor in area of rolling shelves is Not In Contract.
3. Since the mastic is presumed to be containing asbestos. Are we including abatement pricing for the mastic? I assume additional surveyed asbestos or lead items would be differing site conditions?
Yes.
4. Furniture and Portable Shelving Units in the Boeing Offices and Storage Section to be relocated, but the scope of work doesn't state if being relocated by government or the contractor?
By contractor.
5. Is there thought of Unisex Bathroom and remodelling only on one bathroom at a time since the building will still have occupants, or providing temporary toilet facilities during construction or nothing?
No. Bathroom facilities will be available in Lot K.
6. Is there a clear directive on the scope of work for the Cages shown on the left side of the drawings. Looks like an additional cage is added in the corner, one existing cage seems to be deleted. If this is the case, Are the Fire alarm pull station, visual fire alarm device, switches shown in same area and the emergency light pack all have to be relocated if the new cage is that large?
Cage demo is not part of this contract.
7. AF Pamphlet 32-10144 3/8/16 addresses new metering devices for electric water and gas, but no specific meters are indicated in this pamphlet. The UFC has yet to address these new metering devices. These meters will have to be able to dump data to some software or otherwise. I also see the Air Force has stated a replacement program for these meters. Do you have cut sheets or additional information specific to these meters the Air Force is requesting to be able to communicate with?
Meter requirements will be provided.
8. Are you also requesting New LED Lights in the bathrooms, the aircraft Parts Storage being remodeled, and the existing TMO Office?
Yes.
9. Do you have a clear design instruction for the air conditioner unit on the existing TMO that would be dumping hot air into the new Office Space being built next to the TMO?
This unit should be relocated or replaced in a different location.
1. What specific areas are we to figure for replacing the lighting with LED fixtures or is it for the complete building?
A: Statement of Work (SOW) says replace lighting in "Boeing Offices and Boeing Parts Storage Section".
2. Will we be required to provide a complete wiring diagram and panel schedule or only for the circuits and panel openings affected by construction?
A: Only for circuits and panels being changed.
3. Will the new LRS, Office Space and existing TMO office be required to have separate thermostats?
A: Yes.
4. What capacity is the new HVAC system required to have heating, cooling or just ventilation?
A: Statement of Work says "New offices to have air conditioning units located on top of offices; no heating required."
5. Will the new HVAC system be tied into the the building DDC system? If so is this building also have a Siemens DDC control system?
A: B320 is not tied to the base DDC system.
6. Please confirm there is to be no changes or additions to the buildings exhaust system?
A: That should be determined by the designer.
7. Will the replacement plumbing fixtures to be of like kind to the existing?
A: Replace fixtures using current standards.
