The government retains sole discretion in determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement based on received responses.

This opportunity is not set aside for any specific business category and is being procured under FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) procedures due to proprietary software constraints. The contract requires the contractor to provide emergency repair support within 2 business hours telephonically and on-site repair within 24 hours if needed, with a detailed repair report to be submitted within 30 days of any emergency service. Work will be performed during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, with strict security, safety, and environmental compliance requirements. The contract falls under NAICS category 811210 for Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance, with a Product Service Code of J059 for maintenance and repair of electrical and electronic equipment components. While no specific award value is mentioned, the scope involves the relocation and reinstallation of a single, critical test system with comprehensive support requirements.
