Update #2 ·

RECOVERY - Work for this project will consist of providing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete repairs and maintenance on a backcountry trail bridge including mobilization; fabrication, delivery and installation of treated timbers for running planks, rail posts, rails and fence, and deck; placing fill material for trail approaches; hardware; painting steel trusses; disposal of replaced timbers off national forest lands; minor clearing; miscellaneous maintenance items; and clean up.

Trail bridge is approximately 15 miles northeast of Bayfield, Colorado via County Road (CR) 501, NFSR 602, and NFST 523. Proceed north on CR 501 until CR 501 turns into NFSR 601. Proceed to the end of NFSR 602 to NFST 523. Proceed northeast on NSFT 523 approximately 6 miles.

There is no pre-bid conference schedule but bidders are encouraged to visit the site.

The project cost estimate is between $25,000 and $100,000. Performance and payment bonds will be required per the Miller Act and Davis Bacon wage rates will apply.

All responsible sources may submit a bid which will be considered by the Government. In accordance with FAR 4.1102(a), prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of a contract.
