About this opportunity
The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has issued a Special Notice for a potential sole source procurement of Raptor Licenses from Sandoval Custom Creations, Inc (SCCI), located in Larkspur, Colorado. The notice, posted on March 10, 2025, indicates the DEA's intent to negotiate a firm-fixed price (FFP) purchase order under FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The procurement falls under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 334310, which relates to Audio and Video Equipment Manufacturing. While the DEA appears prepared to work directly with SCCI, the agency is providing an opportunity for other vendors to demonstrate their capability to meet the government's requirements.
Contractors interested in this opportunity have until March 25, 2025, at 10:00 AM Eastern Standard Time to submit a capability statement electronically to Robert.A.JonesJr@dea.gov. The government will review these submissions and retain sole discretion on whether to open the requirement to competitive bidding. This is not a competitive solicitation, and no Request for Quotation (RFQ) will be issued. Eligible vendors should carefully review their ability to provide Raptor Licenses that meet the DEA's specifications. Potential respondents should note that submitting a capability statement does not guarantee consideration or future contract award. The procurement will be conducted using simplified acquisition procedures, which typically suggests a streamlined and expedited contracting process for relatively lower-value acquisitions.
