About this opportunity
The Bureau of Indian Education's Division of Acquisitions, within the Department of the Interior, is soliciting quotes for radios, installation, and airtime services for Tuba City Boarding School, with quotes due November 5, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time under an amendment that extended the original deadline. The solicitation uses no set-aside.
Performance is in Tuba City, Arizona. Per the specification sheet, the equipment line comprises 15 DTP9751 Portable 4G LTE FirstNet radios, 30 SR500 Mobile 4G LTE FirstNet radios, one Dispatch/GPS Console Software for PC, and 46 activation, programming, and SIM packages. The installation line covers 30 mobile radio installations. The airtime line covers 46 unlimited group and private airtime subscriptions, 30 optional GPS tracking services, and 45 FirstNet access subscriptions. The procurement is a Brand Name or Equal competition. Offerors quoting an equivalent product must submit a comparison report showing how it meets or exceeds the salient characteristics of the named brand-name products, plus manufacturer certification of authorized reseller status. Failure to provide that certification may result in rejection as non-responsive.
The award is a firm fixed-price purchase order with a one-year performance period from award. Delivery is required within 30 days after receipt of order (ARO), and offerors must show fully manufactured, in-stock items ready to ship. Pricing must be broken into Equipment, Installation, and Airtime line items and include all applicable federal, state, and local taxes and duties. The evaluation uses Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) criteria: technical acceptability is determined first, then price is evaluated for reasonableness.
Offerors must hold SAM registration with a unique entity identifier (UEI) and complete the representations and certifications under FAR 52.212-3. Quotes are submitted electronically in PDF format to Contracting Officer Brandon Walker at Brandon.Walker@bie.edu, with the solicitation number in the subject line. Invoices are processed through the Treasury's Invoice Processing Platform (IPP).
