About this opportunity
The Department of Veterans Affairs Strategic Acquisition Center Frederick has issued a Special Notice for a Virtual Industry Day related to the Transition Assistance Program (TAP). Scheduled for Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., the virtual event is specifically targeting OASIS+ Management & Advisory (M&A) domain vendors and potential subcontractors. The industry day will feature a presentation about a potential TAP requirement and include a question-and-answer session. The notice is connected to Request for Information (RFI) Notice ID: 36C10X25Q0032 and is designed to provide potential contractors with insights into the upcoming contract opportunity. Interested parties must confirm their attendance by Friday, March 14, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. EST.
The primary objective of this Virtual Industry Day is to inform potential contractors about the VA's Transition Assistance Program, which supports approximately 200,000 service members transitioning to civilian life annually. Contractors are limited to two attendees per firm and must email Rebecca Ubert at Rebecca.Ubert@va.gov to register, providing email addresses for all attendees. The program requires contract support for services including onsite support, program management, curriculum development, and training across 300+ worldwide installations organized into nine operational regions. The TAP program involves conducting in-person and virtual VA Benefits and Services briefings, providing one-on-one assistance, delivering military life cycle modules, and supporting installation engagements. Key components include a mandatory one-day VA Benefits and Services briefing, Women's Health Transition Training, 13 military life cycle micro-learning modules, and support from VA Benefits Advisors who will deliver courses and conduct counseling.
