About this opportunity
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Integrated Service Network 2 (VISN 2), on behalf of the Albany Stratton VA Medical Center, is seeking a contractor to provide teleradiology services under a two-year contract. The services will include board-certified radiology physician services for reading various medical imaging types such as plain films, CT exams, CTA exams, ultrasounds, MRI scans, and nuclear medicine studies. The primary objective is to assist during normal business hours (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM) when VA staffing is insufficient, with the goal of preventing patient diversion and maintaining clinical outcomes. Key qualifications require physicians to possess current, full, unrestricted medical licenses, board certification in radiology, and the ability to meet VA and American College of Radiology guidelines. Responses to this Request for Information/Sources Sought Notice must be submitted by December 16, 2025, at 12:00 PM Eastern Time, and should be directed to Contract Specialist Meaghan Gallagher. This is a market research notice and does not constitute a binding commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or award a contract.
This procurement is set aside exclusively for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) under NAICS Code 621512 (Diagnostic Imaging Centers) with a $19.0 million size standard. No current contractor or incumbent information has been identified in the Sources Sought Notice. While no specific award value is stated in this pre-solicitation announcement, the $19.0 million size standard provides an indication of the anticipated contract ceiling for small business eligibility purposes. The estimated quantities for individual line items range from 1 to 100 examinations per imaging type, reflecting the anticipated scope of teleradiology services needed at the Albany Stratton VA Medical Center. Interested contractors should submit detailed responses including company information, SAM UEI, business type certification, teleradiology experience, and previous VA contract history to be considered during this market research phase.
