About this opportunity
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Ann Arbor Healthcare System is seeking to procure in-home sleep monitoring services, including specialized equipment and interpretation by a Board-Certified Sleep Medicine Physician. This sole source procurement is being conducted under FAR 6.302-1, indicating the VA has determined that only one responsible source can meet their requirements. The contract will serve the Ann Arbor VAMC and all community-based outpatient clinics (CBOCs) within the Ann Arbor, Michigan catchment area. Interested parties must submit responses by November 7, 2025, at 12:00 PM Eastern Time via email to michelle.ford2@va.gov, with the requirement to provide clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the government. No solicitation package is currently available, and the government retains sole discretion to determine whether to compete the requirement.
This procurement has not been designated as a set-aside and will be awarded as a fixed-price contract with a six-month performance period commencing December 1, 2025. The contract falls under NAICS Code 621610 (Home Health Care Services) with a size standard of $16.5 million, though no specific award value has been announced in this pre-solicitation notice. The VA has classified this requirement under PSC Q403 (Medical-Evaluation/Screening). While no incumbent contractor or specific award value is identified in the notice, the fixed-price nature and six-month duration suggest a short-term, limited-scope engagement designed to address immediate sleep study needs for the Ann Arbor healthcare system's veteran population.
