About this opportunity
The U.S. Army Materiel Command's Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground intends to solicit and negotiate a sole-source contract with Bruker Corporation for the purchase of an Avance NEO Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) console upgrade for the existing NMR 500 system. The NMR 500 is used to support Department of Defense programs related to anti-terrorism forensic attributions and purity analysis of chemical warfare materials. The Government has determined that Bruker Corporation is the only responsible source capable of providing the required upgrade, which must be compatible with the existing Bruker Smart Magnet System and preamplifier system.
This pre-solicitation notice also serves as a Request for Information, and any other responsible source who believes they can meet the Government's requirement may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation by the July 26, 2024 deadline. The Government will consider these submissions, but reserves the sole discretion to determine whether to compete the proposed requirement based on the responses received. There is no set-aside designation, and the Government has not provided any details on potential award values or budget ranges.
